DKMS es el centro de donantes de médula ósea mas grande mundo con más de 2,5 millones de donantes de médula ósea registrados. Muchas personas en América del Norte apenas nos conocen, nuestra intención es cambiar esto y nos gustaría presentarnos.

Como muchos de ustedes, mi vida se ha visto afectado por la Leucemia. Perdí a mi madre, Mechtild, cuando tenía 14 años. Necesitaba un transplante de médula ósea y la búsqueda parecía inutil ya que sólo había 3,000 donantes disponibles en Alemania.
