Meet Giovanni, born July 24, 2006, a happy and healthy baby. When Giovanni was just 6 weeks old, he began getting life threatening infections and after months of hospitalization was diagnosed with NEMO, a rare and severe immune disorder.
His parents were told he would die before his 1st birthday without a marrow or cord blood transplant.

Positive Living

Living with leukemia and other blood diseases can be challenging.

There are ways to feel better that can make an enormous difference. Work to keep your spirits up, and stay positive. Try to keep to your normal routine, keep busy, and engaged. Stay in close contact with friends, and involved in your community.

Most of all, it is important to take care of your body and surround yourself with positive messages of hope.

Always consult your doctor before embarking on any therapy.
