NEW YORK – Thursday night the DKMS 5th Annual Gala raised a record 2.5 million dollars to support the fight against leukemia and other blood related cancers. The money raised at the star-studded gala, which took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City will help register nearly 30,000 bone marrow donors and work to save lives worldwide.

New York: Leighton Meester will light the Empire State Building red and white on Thursday, April 28 at 10:30 a.m. in a special ceremony honoring the 5th Annual DKMS Gala, the Coty-DKMS Linked Against Leukemia partnership and the 20th anniversary of DKMS. The Empire State Building will light up the skies from sunset on Thursday until 2 a.m. on April 29th to help raise awareness of DKMS, the world's largest bone marrow donor center.

University of Kansas Donor Drive Thursday May 6th
Jackson is just one-year-old and he is fighting for his life. The little boy has a fatal rare disease and needs a bone marrow transplant from a stranger to survive.
