THE POWER TO SAVE A LIFE IS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
WITH THE SALLY HANSEN “COLOR THAT CARES” CAMPAIGN BENEFITING DKMS
Color for a cause. It’s not every day you get the opportunity to help save a life when you get a manicure. But with Sally Hansen and DKMS lifesaving is at your fingertips. To help draw attention to the DKMS mission to save lives by recruiting donors, the world’s largest bone marrow center is partnering with Sally Hansen to kick off a mulit-city “Color That Cares” campaign.
For the culmination of the campaign, DKMS and Sally Hansen are hosting an event in Los Angeles at Hollywood and Highland on June 10th, where the nail authority will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most manicures done in a day and Actress TK will be on hand to help launch the initiative. The Color that Cares program will be offering complimentary manicures featuring the new Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure and encouraging visitors to register as donors for DKMS. Fans unable to make it to Los Angeles can get involved online by uploading digital photos of their own Sally Hansen manicures to the Sally Hansen Facebook page to benefit DKMS.
To raise awareness about the Color That Cares program, Sally Hansen and DKMS are debuting a print advertising campaign this April, highlighting the crucial cause that the program benefits. Proceeds from the sales of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure will support DKMS as well, raising further awareness—and funds—for the cause.
