Pay it Forward with Jackie Raises $1,600

Money will be used to Register Bone Marrow Donors

We are very proud to announce that Pay it Forward with Jackie raised over $1600 for DKMS on Sunday, December 6th, 2009 at the Wal-Mart in Farmingdale, 901 Broadhallow Rd. (RT 110)

100% of the money raised at the Coins for a Cause will go towards the tissue-typing of the more than 2,700 people who signed-up as bone marrow donors to potentially help save Julianna and thousands of other patients just like her.

It costs DKMS $65 to tissue-type/register each new donor. While the cost is not made mandatory, DKMS needs to come up with the $200,000 to help cover these costs.
