Cross Country Walk for Bone Marrow Transplant Awareness ends with an emotional reunion of a patient and donor who will meet each other for the very first time.
On January 27th at 12:00 PM, Jeana Moore will end a cross country walk in New York City at Park Central New York, held to raise awareness for the need of Bone Marrow Transplants. Her 3-year old granddaughter Jada, her family and she will meet Torsten, a complete stranger who saved the young girl’s life with a bone marrow transplant.
A bone marrow drive will be hold simultaneously to make more lifesaving stories happen. DKMS Americas, The Bone Marrow Foundation and Jeana invite you to welcome Jeana in New York and to attend this miraculous event where Jada, meets her donor for the first time in person!
