Be A College Rep
Because young donors are essential to the vitality of the DKMS database, college campuses are great places to recruit new donors.
We need motivated individuals, like you, to lead our “Get Swabbed, Save a Life” national college campaign to recruit young bone marrow donors. Become a part of our lifesaving community. The more donors you register, the more lives we can save. You have the power to make it happen!
Become a College Rep: Take Time Out of Your Life to Give Others a Lifetime!
College Rep. DKMS needs motivated undergraduates with strong social skills and a true passion for helping others, to help us broaden awareness about bone marrow donation and recruit new bone marrow donors. Your efforts to recruit new donors will lead to lives being saved, and will look great on your resume.
As a College Rep you will work directly as a liaison between DKMS and your school to do the following:
- Host a {One Week = 100 Cheeks} campaign on your campus.
- Implement creative ways to educate the university community about the importance of bone marrow donation and its relevance to saving the lives of those suffering from leukemia and other blood diseases.
- Develop an ongoing donor registration initiative at your school.
- Motivate your campus community to get involved.
Upon successful completion of the project, DKMS is able to provide verification of your community service hours, a letter of recommendation, and an honorary certificate commending your service to others. This is an unpaid position that requires no previous experience.
