Las Vegas Strip Unites to Help Fellow Lion King 'Cub' in Need of a Lifesaver

Shannon Tavarez, who played "Young Nala" in the Broadway production of "The Lion King" is fighting to survive, having recently been diagnosed with acute leukemia.

Josh Landay, one of her "Lion King" castmates in the Las Vegas production of the show, joined Dao & Shawn of the The Vegas Morning Blend to explain how a bone marrow transplant may be Shannon's only chance at survival, and what you can do to help.

DKMS's bone marrow donor drive took place in lobby of Mandalay Bay Theatre, home of The Lion King, on Tuesday, August 3rd from 12-4pm.
