Shannon Tavarez, who played "Young Nala" in the Broadway production of "The Lion King" is fighting to survive, having recently been diagnosed with acute leukemia.

DKMS's bone marrow donor drive took place in lobby of Mandalay Bay Theatre, home of The Lion King, on Tuesday, August 3rd from 12-4pm.
