Country singer and songwriter Cooper Boone, wrote the celebrated track “One Song,” with Nashville’s Mark D. Conklin for DKMS. The song is included on his album. “A good friend of mine has leukemia and I’m someone that likes to do whatever I can to contribute,” explains Boone.
Giving back is second nature for Boone. He has a doctorate in psychology and has counseled everyone from children afflicted with AIDS to individuals with drug-related issues.
Boone performed the "One Song" at DKMS' 3rd Annual Gala and made a public service announcement for DKMS – directed by Noah Hutton, son of Debra Winger and Tim Hutton, who was recently was awarded the Best Documentary Feature prize at the Oxford Film Festival.
