SLU-Helping to Save Sean, Patrick & Others

Date:
Thu Feb 23, 2012
- St. Louis, MO

The Murry brothers, Sean, 21 and Patrick, 17, were both diagnosed with Diamond Blackfan anemia at birth. Since birth they have required monthly blood transfusions, inserting a needle in their leg each evening for a pump to provide medicine over a 12 hr. period and now having to receive blood using a dialysis machine so their entire blood volume is taken out while an entire new blood volume is infused.

Sean and Patrick go through each day NOT knowing what their future will hold. They want a full life without constant hospital visits, surgeries, fatigue and fear. They deserve this! A Bone Marrow Transplant is their only option to get their life back to normal!

Did you know that it is so simple to save a life? All it takes is getting your cheek swabbed to start the process. YOU could be the match that these boys are waiting for. Please come out and support the SLU Billikens in helping to find a match for Sean and Patrick.

BECOME A LIFESAVER for Sean, Patrick or Others!
