Donor Replacement

Besides increasing the quality of the DKMS database, the Donor Replacement Program is designed to reserve a particular donor for a particular patient if a second donation is needed. It also protects the donor from having to donate for more than one patient.

This program also allows DKMS to act fast in emergency situations such as a donor dropping out at the last minute for medical reasons.
