Jackie, a vibrant 6-year-old girl, is not like other children her age. On Christmas Eve 2006, Jackie, then only 3, was diagnosed with leukemia (AML). In 2008, Jackie received a life-saving stem cell transplant from cord blood. Although Jackie still suffer post-transplant complications, she motivates herself and others by "Paying It Forward" to give hope to other patients who are in desperate need of finding a matching bone marrow donor.

I am a 26 year-old recent graduate of the Yale Law School. I am also trying to make history as the first Nigerian delegate to compete in the Winter Olympics, in which I would compete in the sport of skeleton.

In June 2009, I was diagnosed with two rare and aggressive forms of cancer: lymphoblastic lymphoma and stem-cell leukemia.

At just 26-years-old,Seun Adebiyi is one of the most driven individuals you will ever meet. Seun has achieved nearly every life goal he has set for himself. A Nigerian 2009 Yale Law School graduate, Seun was diagnosed with leukemia while training for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games last year and needs a bone marrow transplant. Now his goal is to register 10,000 people as donors with DKMS, the largest bone marrow donor center in the world.

Twenty-four year old Stephen loved baseball, football, snowboarding, horseback riding and camping. Diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2008, Stephen lost his battle on March 5, 2010. Now his family and friends are continuing the fight against blood cancers as they register bone marrow donors in Stephen's memory.

Every year, more than 10,000 men, women and children could benefit from a bone marrow transplant. Only 4 out of 10 patients will receive the transplant that can save their life. Register as a bone marrow donor in Stephen's memory and you may be the ONE to save a life.

As a senior at Duke University I was expecting to face many transitions: from the classroom to the corporate office, from living on my parents’ dime to striking it out on my own, from living in the protective bubble of college to figuring out how to navigate city life. The transition from healthy young woman to bald cancer warrior, though, was a big one that I’d never anticipated.

Jackson is 11 months old

Jackson's mother Molly used to wonder and dream about what the future held for him. Before Jackson was diagnosed with CGD, a potentially fatal disease, Molly would dream about Jackson's first steps, his first day of school, his graduation and all of the milestones that parents dream about for their children.

Now, Molly's dreams for Jackson have been revised to their most basic form:
now she just hopes that he will find his match, survive and that he will be happy and healthy.
