Two Life-savers
University of Missouri students, Regan and Stefanie, each registered with DKMS, the world's largest bone marrow donor center, to become bone marrow donors. These young ladies were both found as donor matches and they share their experience about donating their bone marrow to help save the lives of two leukemia stricken patients.

How to Save a Life: Get Swabbed 101
6-year-old Isabelle knows more about leukemia than most people. With the assistance the Get Swabbed Girl, Isabelle explains "How to Save a Life" by becoming a bone marrow donor. Full of sass and humor, Isabelle will teach you everything you need to know about bone marrow donation. Who knows, she may just inspire you to do something amazing, like register as a bone marrow donor today!

You have come to the right place! There are 3 ways to get involved...

  • Actively organize a drive for a very dear person, to find a matching donor who gives your dear one a chance to live and hopefully to return to normal life.

Yes, I want to organize a drive
  • If you don’t (yet) feel ready to commit to organizing a drive, please don’t leave this page without at least registering yourself:

Yes, I want to register myself
  • Being a Life Saver is priceless – becoming one costs DKMS money

More than 200,000 people every year get registered as potential Life Savers in the DKMS database. Unfortunately, many potential donors cannot pay for all or even some of the costs of their registration. Every dollar counts, because every registration costs the DKMS $65. Registration has to be financed by donations.

Yes, I want to donate money

You can also fundraise for DKMS to help financing the registration costs. 100% of money raised will be used for donor testing. Click here to learn more
